Lewis & Clark Cabin Care

Scott's love for the Lewis & Clark Lake area began as a young boy.  His family resided in Hebron, Nebraska, and because his parents built and owned a cabin in the Devil's nest area in the '70s, that meant many trips to the cabin in the summertime.  Then in the fall of 1978 Scott enrolled at Yankton College, where he later graduated.  While in college Scott continued to spend time at the property.  Unfortunately, a few years later the cabin was destroyed by a tornado. 

In November of 2004 Scott realized a dream of his when he purchased the Cedar Hills, Crofton, lake home; but he continued to reside in Hebron where he managed two cheese plants.  In January of 2006, Scott became a full-time resident at his Cedar Hills lake property.

In June of 2007 Scott and Kaye were married in Crofton, Nebraska.  Kaye grew up in Agar, South Dakota and had spent 25 years in Kansas.  So it was exciting for her to be able to move to this area, where she is closer to her dad, siblings and their families.  Kaye has two grown children, Phillip and Lauren.  Phillip resides in Manhattan, Kansas, and Lauren resides in Great Bend, Kansas.  Kaye is a real estate salesperson with Vision Real Estate Services of Yankton, South Dakota, and also owns O'Neal Office Outsourcing and Scales of Justice Scoping. 

As far as our personal backgrounds, we are very similar.  We both were raised by parents who had a tremendous work ethic and doing the right thing was a way of life.  And dependability was next to Godliness.

Career wise, both of us come from management backgrounds, as well as having to roll up our sleeves to get the job done; Scott managing cheese plants for 13 years and Kaye working as the financial director for a large nonprofit organization for 18 years.  We have applied the attributes with which we were raised, and they have served us well in our careers and in business.
