How does property management work?  In a nutshell, I would market your lake home as a vacation rental home, communicate with interested parties and take care of all the paperwork.  A percentage of the net rental income would be retained for the performance of these services.  You, the property owner, would receive a majority percentage of the net rental income.   You would still be able to use your lake home by communicating to me when it would not be available for renting.  It's a great concept!
